 It was a little after my son Samuel was born that my wife Karolin and I noticed something not so normal with the back of his head. The bones seemed to not be lining up and there was a slight over-lapping of the bottom part of the skull over the upper part. A few weeks later we scheduled a doctor's appointment to get more information. After we visited the doctor he said there is an apparent overlap. We asked what would be some issues Samuel might face because of this. The doctor told us that he could have speech, motor-functions and eyesight issues.
So we knew right away that we must pray and ask if God in his mercy would heal our son. The doctor told us that he would like to take some x-rays of his head, and so we did. We did not get the results that day so we had to wait. Two days later we came to church, we asked the pastor and the church to pray. Later on in the next week the doctor called us and said, "I don't know what to say but Samuel's head looks normal."
Because of faith in God, prayer of our pastor and our church, God answered the prayer!
We serve a mighty and glorious God, a God that heals today the same way he did 2000 years ago. This is why I shout, and this is why I sing. This is why I say, for me and my house we will serve the Lord forever!
